Compatibility

If you want your TEX file to be compatible with L^ATEX and <#532#>EPIC<#532#> but at the same time you want a better print out by using <#533#>EEPIC<#533#>, you must avoid several features in <#534#>EEPIC<#534#>.

Try not to use 93 commands and use 94 instead because 95 in L^ATEX only supports a limited set of slope.
Do not use 96 command. Use 97 if a curve is really necessary.
Avoid using solid or small inter-dot gap in drawing long dash lines. They used up a lot of TEX memory in original <#535#>EPIC<#535#>. You should use 98 with negative stretch to draw the dash lines.

If you want to use any of the extended commands in <#536#>EEPIC<#536#>, you must include the <#537#>EEPIC<#537#> emulation macros (99) in the file. The extended commands are emulated in the following ways.

Circles larger than 40pt will be drawn using 100.
Ellipsis will be drawn using 101.
Spline will be approximated by 102.
103 will be substituted by 104.
105 will be substituted by 106.
107 will be substituted by 108 and 109.
